How long does it take to become a resident of Arizona?

I'm most likely moving to Arizona from Michigan and I'll be going to a community college there. Without being a resident it will cost 3 times as much, so I want to wait until I'm a resident. I need to be a resident of both the state and county I believe.

You need to be a resident for one year, and you need to keep a piece of mail or something similar to prove you have lived here for a year. My boyfriend had to do this for Paradise Valley Community College.
